SRS Labs, producer of surround sound, audio, and voice technologies, announced today that it has published the third installment of its popular Buyer’s Guide series, which has turned its focus towards the mobile phone market, while also encouraging users to enter the SRS Mobile Sweepstakes for a chance to win a Motorola MotoQ smart phone.
“With so many choices today, trying to determine which mobile phone is the perfect fit can be a daunting task for many people,” said Alan Kraemer, Buyer’s Guide Author and Chief Technology Officer at SRS Labs. “The goal behind our buyer’s guide series is to make it easier for consumers to develop confidence when buying their next mobile phone, HDTV or PC.”
As with PCs or HDTVs, not all mobile devices are created equal and it often requires time-consuming research to determine which phone sufficiently meets a user’s daily requirements. The SRS Mobile Phone Buyer’s Guide plainly illustrates many of the key points that consumers should consider prior to purchasing a new mobile phone, such as choice of network, call quality, international use, texting and multimedia. Additionally, SRS Labs developed two other popular buyers guides aimed towards simplifying the purchase of a flat panel HDTV or an entertainment PC. The buyer’s guide are available for free online without any obligation.
To commemorate the launch of multiple new audio solutions with its mobile phone manufacturing partners, SRS launched a sweepstakes on January 20th. Open to U.S. consumers interested in winning one of three Motorola MotoQ mobile phone featuring SRS technology, consumers are invited to enter the SRS Mobile Sweepstakes, which concludes on February 20th, 2009.
