Sprint Adds Windows Phone 8 Devices with Unlimited 4G LTE

Sprint Windows 8The HTC 8XT and Samsung Ativ S Neo, both Windows Phone 8 handsets, will be available sometime this summer through Sprint’s self-dubbed Truly Unlimited plan. Offered in select markets, the plan promises unlimited 4G LTE data use with no overage charges. The cost rings in at $79.99 per month for an individual user and 179.98 per month for a three-line family plan.

Sporting a 4.3-inch WVGA display, the HTC 8XT is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The phone is equipped with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and a microSD slot that can handle up to a 64GB card. Users can snap photos and videos with an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus in the back and a 1.6-MP shooter in the front.

The HTC 8XT will cost $99.99 for new customers or eligible upgraders as part of the standard two-year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate via a reward card.

Equipped with a 4.8-inch HD screen, Samsung’s Ativ S Neo also includes a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of memory, and a microSD card slot. An 8-MP camera with LED flash will take up the rear, while a 1.9-MP camera will be in front. The phone will come with a variety of camera apps preinstalled.

The ATIV S Neo will sell for $149.99 for new and upgrading users with the two-year agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate.
