Remixation has released a major update of Showyou, its video browsing app for iOS. The title lets users find and view videos from a number of online sources. Clips can be streamed to a TV via an Apple TV and AirPlay. Showyou 2.0 incorporates a redesigned iPad interface, and a new search function, based on videos being shared via services like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Tumblr.
The app now also has more grids, covering sources like TED, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Sharing has been expanded to support email, and offer simplified Twitter and Facebook options. Showyou is a free download from App Store, and a universal title for any handheld running iOS 4 or better.
