Shogun Bros. has updated its Chameleon X-1 gaming mouse that doubles as a gamepad and wireless presenter. The new additions include a rubberized coating, a new layout for remote control operation and improved battery life. Otherwise retained are the same 16 buttons with force feedback and two analog sticks from the original device.
Also carried over is the five-way adjustable 1,600dpi optical sensor. A nano transceiver is included, and it can be stored in a magnetic storage compartment inside the mouse. One AAA battery is required for powering the mouse.
The new and improved mouse ships on October 1, though Amazon is offering it for pre-order now for $59.99. It will be available in purple, gray or red.
