Simply Color Industries recently released a new app for the iPhone called Simply Postcards. The app launched on October 19th and climbed into the top 15 free photography apps in the iTunes store. The app is designed for many different types of consumers including travelers looking to send their own photos home to friends and family – not just the stock photo off the rack. The app is also perfect to send a postcard to military personnel overseas or have them send one home to you. Conveniently send a postcard on a moment’s notice without worrying about stamps or mailboxes. The postcards ship the next day from their fulfillment center and arrive 2-3 days later.
“With Simply Postcards, you can instantly mail your photos as real postcards from anywhere in the world,” says CEO Adam Fried. “Our customers are snapping photos from the Great Wall of China and having their printed postcards arrive in three days. It’s a really cool technology that we are extremely excited to offer consumers.”
Simply Postcards is free to download, and every user’s first postcard is free. Additional postcard credits can be purchased within the app for as little as $1 with any major credit card or through PayPal. To celebrate the launch of the new iPhone app, Simply Postcards is holding a $1,000 photo contest through November 15, 2010.
