Details are still few on the upcoming Mad Max video game, especially regarding its relation to the franchise as a whole, but maybe a few questions can now be answered. WBGames UK (via Bleeding Cool) have released two motion comics for the game that detail the world as players will see it and a new character named “Chumbucket,” who will serve as Max’s mechanic in the game. Written by Tom Taylor of Injustice: Gods Among Us, illustrated by Jason Shawn Alexander, and animated by Six Point Harness Studios, you can check out the videos below.
In development by Avalanche Studios, Mad Max is an open world, third-person action gamers will play as Mad Max, a lone warrior who must embark on a perilous journey after his Interceptor is stolen by a deadly gang of marauders. A reluctant hero with an instinct for survival, Max wants nothing more than to leave the madness behind and find solace in the storied “Plains of Silence.”
