Samsung Has Signup Page in the US for Galaxy Nexus

A now active signup page for the Galaxy Nexus has given a chance the Android 4.0 phone might arrive on most US carriers. The carrier preference drop-down gives the option not just for the Verizon LTE model but also AT&T, C Spire (Cellular South), MetroPCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular.

The posting doesn’t necessarily equate to every carrier getting the new Nexus, as Samsung might just be gauging interest for the future. A US launch just weeks away, though, makes it doubtful that Samsung would include the carriers without intending to serve at least some of them.

Galaxy Nexus models are coming in both HSPA+ 3G and LTE 4G editions, the latter of which will have both CDMA and GSM as options for voice. T-Mobile’s only choice is the HSPA+ version, but AT&T, MetroPCS, Verizon, and soon Sprint will have the option of LTE.
