Gameloft will launch Real Football 2011 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad by the end of the month. Following the huge success of previous editions and featuring David Villa, striker for FC Barcelona, champion at Euro 2008 and the 2010 World Cup, Real Football 2011 aims to offer players the most realistic football simulation on the App Store.

“Real Football 2011 is a remarkable football simulation game. Thanks to the motion capture technology developed by Gameloft and the precision of the graphics, I’m totally immersed in the field just like in my every day life as a professional player. I’m very pleased to be associated with the launch of Real Football 2011 and to offer our fans a high-quality football game,” remarked David Villa.

Real Football 2011 was developed using motion capture technology, allowing for the movements of real professional football players to be reproduced for more fluid actions. The graphics in Real Football 2011 have been entirely redesigned to offer high-quality textures and 3D rendering. The game uses the iPhone 4’s retina display technology to showcase more detailed graphics with a resolution that is four times more powerful than before.

The game includes 350 teams, offers 14 championships and features the names of most real players thanks to the FIFPro license. It also offers 10 different game modes, such as History mode which lets players relive the greatest moments in football and rewrite history. Club Master mode allows players to become a coach to manage and lead a team throughout an entire season. In Enter the Legend mode, players can reach the heights of glory and control the life of a player. Finally, the real-time multiplayer mode offers players a chance to face off against their friends via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection

Other features in Real Football include the ability to upload your favorite slow-motion replays on YouTube, update the game online with real player transfers, and access the latest football news from the in-game menu, so you don’t miss a single result all while playing your own matches.

The game will be available on the App Store for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad for $6.99, as well as for standard mobile phones for 3 to 5 Euros.
