Razer Announces Pro Grade Microphone for Streamers

Razer is a well known brand among gamers and many of them love to stream the action to the rest of the world to enjoy. So it isn’t a shocker to see Razer add products for streaming to their offering. This week Razer launched the Razer Seiren Elite dynamic USB microphone.

One of the worst things when watching a stream is dealing with poor audio -even when the action is great. Razer says their new mic packs professional grade features to bring high quality audio to live streamers and YouTube broadcasters.

Razer Seiren Elite sports a single capsule, cardioid capture pattern design, along with built-in filter and limiter to give a richer, warmer vocal tone previously only found through high-end broadcast equipment.

“Most professional-grade microphones require additional recording equipment, like mixers and converters, that you need to get your sound onto your PC,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “The Razer Seiren Elite solves that problem, letting broadcasters focus on their content and letting the Seiren Elite handle their audio.”

There is a built-in high-pass filter that removes unwanted low-frequency vibrations – think of fans running at full from your rig.
