Call EndowmentCall of Duty: Black Ops 2 players on Xbox 360 will be able to support U.S. war veterans through the Call of Duty Endowment by buying downloadable content for the game over the next week, publisher Activision announced today.

Players will be able to buy any of 17 different Black Ops 2 Personalization Packs, which allow users to customize the appearance of their weapons, at a 25 percent discount on Xbox Live from Oct. 8-14. Each DLC pack regularly costs $1.99. Activision, developer Treyarch and Microsoft will donate all profits generated from sales during the discount period to the Call of Duty Endowment.

The Call of Duty Endowment is a charitable foundation dedicated to supporting organizations that help veterans find employment. Activision said at Gamescom 2013 that it has given more than $10 million to the Endowment since founding the nonprofit organization in 2009.

“This is a great opportunity for the Call of Duty community to get involved, and we’re delighted to work with Treyarch and our friends at Xbox to donate all profits from this activity toward helping vets find good jobs,” said Dan Goldenberg, executive director of the Call of Duty Endowment.
