Pre-order sales for Sony’s Resistance 3 for the Playstation 3 ranked in the top 15 this week at GameStop online division this week amid strong pre-sale demand.
This week, the Resistance 3 standard SKU ranked as the No. 15 best-selling pre-order product at Gamestop.com.
Resistance 3 will be sold in a standard and Doomsday Edition SKU Sept. 6, 2011 at U.S. retail.
The Resistance 3 Doomsday Edition SKU will include the Playstation Move Sharp Shooter, Playstation Move Controller, Navigation Controller, Playstation Eye Camera, and a copy of Resistance 3 at $149.99.
The title will include a full campaign mode and new two-player online and split-screen co-op functionality.
The final game will include new weapon upgrades and new enemies.
The competitive multiplayer mode will include human vs. Chimera battles in deathmatch and objective-based modes. Users can spend earned points to customize loadouts, including new personal and support abilities.
Support abilities include the Bubble Shield, Ammo Beacon to give ammo to teammates, and Radar Beacon to enhance the team’s radar.
Tactical abilities include Doppelganger to project an image distraction and Dash for a speed burst to evade enemy attacks.
Customers who pre-order the title at Amazon.com Inc. will receive access to the Air Fuel Grenade to release a large cloud of flammable vapor in the Resistance 3 single-player campaign.
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. customers who pre-order will receive a set of five custom name titles which yield exclusive multiplayer PSN tags.
GameStop Corp. customers will receive a necklace of Chimera teeth and a multiplayer booster to Level 5.
