The ongoing open beta for Sony’s PlayStation streaming service, PlayStation Now, will be extended to PlayStation TV and PlayStation Vita on October 14. Sony announced the news today in a comprehensive FAQ about PS TV today on the PlayStation Blog.

October 14 is the day PS TV launches in North America. The microconsole will sell for $99, though you can also buy a $140 premium bundle that includes the system, a memory card, a DualShock 3 controller, and your choice of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time or Lego The Movie Video Game.

The PS Now open beta for PS TV and PS Vita will allow players to rent and stream more than 150 PlayStation 3 games to their devices. To use the service, you’ll need a steady Internet connection (Sony recommends at least 5Mbps), as well as Dualshock 3 or 4 controller.

The PS Now open beta is currently available on PS3 and PS4.
