PlayGo USB Offers Simple Wireless Audio Solution for Macs and PCs

PlayGo has launched a USB plug-and-play wireless audio streaming solution for Macs and PCs. The gadget comes in two components, one that plugs into the USB port on a user’s computer, with the other connected to the user’s stereo system. Once paired, users can stream music from their notebook or desktop to their stereo, powered speakers or even headphones by optical or RCA connections.

playGo have also added an interesting touch in the way the device has been manufactured. Although appearing to be a common plastic design in the photos, the playGo USB is machined from a block of Corian. Corian is a hardwearing material made by DuPont that is used in the construction of countertops. However, this comes at a cost, with the playGo currently selling on its US webstore for $400.

Set up is relatively straightforward, and the receiver does not need an AC adapter. The system will automatically find the clearest channel between the transmitter and receiver, and will choose the best frequency before automatically pairing.

The playGo USB is compatible with both Macs and PCs and is available in orange or white.
