Recosoft has released PDF2Office Personal 5.0 for the Mac platform. The program takes PDF documents and rebuilds them for us in Microsoft Word.
PDF2Office plug-in automatically reforms paragraphs, preserves styles and tables plus regroups independent graphic elements. It also processes headers and footers, endnotes and footnotes, and columns and sections.
The update adds over 60 features; the headliner is said to be the ability to covert PDFs into a native Word 2007/2008 format. The upgrade also provides full compatibility with Snow Leopard, a new typeface library, and a PDF inspector for viewing fonts, metadata and restrictions within a file. PDF2Office Personal 5.0 requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher, and costs $60.
