Actress Karine Vanasse, who plays Colette on ABC’s Pan Am tweeted: “Well, we received THE call, #PanAm is only coming back for one more episode after Christmas. But up to the end, we’ll give it our all!” The Montreal-based actress also Tweeted this: “C’est confirme, un seul episode de plus en janvier pour #PanAm. J’espere que vous serez la jusqu’a la fin!”
ABC won’t be ordering any more episodes of the period drama, effectively canceling it. ABC’s PR department says the show hasn’t been “canceled,” and that the show is in contention to return next season. ABC did a full force push at Comic-con for the shoe giving very nice PAm-Am 60’s styled Carry on bags. Sadly We did not get one! There were s mod.
Pan Am will get one more installment beyond its initial 13-episode order for a total of 14, with new episodes returning in January. ABC insists that all of them will air.
Pan Am got off to a great start, drawing more than 11 million viewers for its pilot episode. Those numbers settled to about half that for the bulk of the show’s run.
