Samsung today posted an update for the Captivate on AT&T that addresses its GPS speed. The upgrade fixes the sluggish GPS issue that prevented most Galaxy S phones from getting their positions quickly, and in some case, at all.
The update also adds a full version of QuickOffice instead of the trial.
The update is rolling out automatically over the next few weeks, but some users might have the option of forcing the update early through a manual check for an update.
