Fallout 4 will be made available worldwide on Tuesday, November 10th and NVIDIA has released GeForce 358.91 WHQL Game Ready video card drivers for owners of their video cards. You can download the Windows Vista/7/8/8.1 64-bit drivers here and the Windows 10 64-bit drivers here.

NVIDIA GeForce 358.91 WHQL do not have any changes to the SLI profiles, 3D Vision Profiles or any Windows fixes included.

NVIDA also released a detailed Fallout 4 graphics, performance and tweaking guide that is a must read for gamers that want to get the best Fallout 4 gaming experience on the PC.

NVIDIA said that they spent hundreds of hours testing every single game setting, config file tweak, and console command to reveal their impact on image quality and their relative performance cost. The results and notes of that testing is in the tweaking guide!

The official Fallout 4 system requirements call for a GeForce GTX 550 Ti with 2GB of VRAM for 1280×960, minimum setting, 30 FPS gameplay, and a GeForce GTX 780 with 3GB of VRAM for a higher level of detail. Neither of these previous-generation cards are available to purchase, but luckily NVIDIA has some recommendations for current generation cards. According to NVIDIA’s own internal benchmarking, the GeForce GTX 970 is ideal to play Fallout 4 at 1920 x 1080 with high setting, 60 GPS gameplay. If you’d like to play at 2560×1440 then you’ll need to move up to the more powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti video card to get the same experience at that higher screen resolution.
