T-Mobile has announced its new unlimited data plans, which the company has called its Value plans. Available from July 24 on new two contracts, the plans offer users the choice of unlimited data in tiers of 2GB, 5GB or 10GB. They work by allowing users to access their monthly data quota at full, however, when this is reached, download speeds are throttled and users are not charged for data overage.

While all the pricing details are yet to be published, T-Mobile offers a comparative chart (embedded below) of its $100 per month Value plan. For their money, users will get 2GB of data at 4G speeds, before this is then shaped. It also includes unlimited texting and unlimited Anytime minutes (T-Mobile to T-Mobile).

Pricing details of its 5GB and 10GB plans will be available on T-Mobile’s website from July 24.
