New Mint.com App Comes to the Android

Mint on Android

The people at the Mint.com have released an free Android app to let you manage your money on the go.

The Mint let us here at Test ToT have a sneak peak of the app last week, and we are very pleased with their new app.

The good news is the vital features of the iPhone Mint are here on the new version for the Android. Yhave the ability to see real-time account balances, check recent transactions; compare your spending against your monthly budgets, and edit transaction details.

Android-Specific Features

The even better news is the the people at the Mint have made it a true Android app. The exclusive Android features include: easy search for recent transactions, a Mint.com widget that includes snapshot of overall cash flow in real-time, and Android live folders that give users financial updates on the phone’s home screen without launching the Mint.com application.

Security

The password-protected application provides data security. If an Android phone is lost or stolen, users can immediately disable access from the Mint.com website.

Availability

You can simply create a free account at www.mint.com, or use your existing account to use the new app.

The Mint.com application is available for Android OS versions 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0.  It can be downloaded from the from the Android Market.  More information about the Mint.com Android application is available at www.mint.com/features/android.
