T-Mobile USA on Tuesday announced a new CEO, Philipp Humm, will join its ranks much earlier than expected. Earlier this year T-mobile USA announced it would replace current CEO Robert Dotson in 2011. Now that Philipp Humm is on the CEO office, Dotson has became the vice chairman of the T-Mobile USA Board.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to lead T-Mobile toward future growth and plan to continually improve the way we serve our customers,” Humm said of his new appointment.
No reason for the early CEO appointment was given
At the same time, T-Mobile USA announced former chief technology officer Cole Brodman will become the chief marketing officer, while Neville Ray, the chief network officer, will take on the role of chief technology officer. Both will be effective on November 1st.
