Netflix stated their are now streaming HD versions of movies and TV shows to members who watch on a Mac or PC. Both Mac and Windows users can get the 720p videos for over half of the content available through the Watch Instantly feature. The clips are individually flagged as HD to let viewers know which ones go beyond standard definition.
HD streaming isn’t new for Netflix but has largely been restricted to the Xbox 360,
