NEC expanded its MultiSync EA screens for higher-end home and pro users the EA241WM and EA191M.
The 24-inch EA241WM has the same 1920×1200 resolution (16:10 aspect ratio) as the 26-inch flagship model. EA241WM is a full full pivoting display with stereo speakers, a carrying handle and a four-port 2.0 USB hub. The panel has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio.
The EA191M is a standard-ratio (5:4 aspect ratio) display in a world going wide screen. A PVA (Patterned Vertical Alignment) panel improves color accuracy and ups the contrast ratio to 1,500:1. It also has speakers but no USB hub.
Both displays have the choice of DVI or VGA ports for video input.
“The EA241WM and EA191M complete the MultiSync EA Series with high-end features for business users who require top performing monitors with enhanced screen performance and full ergonomics,” said Lynn Gu, Product Manager at NEC Display Solutions.
The new MultiSyncs will be shipping later this month at prices of $549 for the 24-inch model and $379 for the 19-inch counterpart.
