NBC has canceled freshman comedy Free Agents.

The workplace comedy starring Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn failed to gain traction in its Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. slot against competition that included Fox’s X Factor and CBS’ Survivor.

Last night’s episode will be the series’ final airing. Thesitcom drew very poor numbers in its most recent outing, averaging 3.3 million viewers and a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49.

“Thanks to NBC for giving us a shot, thanks to all who watched Free Agents, and thanks to all who worked on the show — we had so much fun!!” Asaria tweeted today.

Repeats of the recently picked up Whitney will air in its place beginning next week
