Tinseltown Dreams: The 50’s is the newest casual PC game from Namco Networks, a leading publisher and developer of interactive entertainment for mass-market casual gamers.
The first original PC casual game from Namco, Tinseltown Dreams: The 50’s challenges players to take a seat in the director’s chair in a Match 3 game set during the 1950s-”a renowned time in film. Each Match 3 level gives players an opportunity to earn money and then build their own movie set. Using an accumulated budget, players hire a professional cast and crew, then choose from more than 180 props for their masterpiece. Each film is a unique creation, as players scale props in size, place actors on the stage and arrange them all as they see fit.
“Tinseltown Dreams is just the beginning of innovative, original PC games from Namco. And casual game players will see more new and original titles before the end of the year,” said David Schwartz, general manager of PC games at Namco Networks. “Player-created movies -“ what we call a -˜dollhouse feature’ -“ are an exciting addition to Match 3 action.
