Monster has expanded its Beats by Dr. Dre series with new earphones, PowerBeats, which are claimed to have come to market due to a collaboration with LeBron James. The earphones feature an adjustable ear hook with a flexible arm designed specifically for sports enthusiasts and athletes.
Dual drivers help separate bass and midrange frequencies, while an integrated microphone can be used for hands-free calling with phones or other devices. The headphones also provide in-line playback controls compatible with iOS devices such as iPods, iPads or iPhones.
The PowerBeats are now available directly from the company or supporting retailers for $180. Buyers can choose from red, white or black color schemes.
