Mobile Posse announced that it has teamed up with GasPriceWatch to deliver real-time gas quotes to the idle screen of consumer mobile phones. GasPriceWatch offers the most comprehensive database of gas stations and gas prices in North America, providing information for more than 130,000 gas retail outlets. Under the terms of the agreement, GasPriceWatch will deliver up-to-date gas prices for all grades of gas, including Regular, Mid-Grade, Premium, Diesel, E85, and Biodiesel, to subscribers of the Mobile Posse solution.

GasPriceWatch receives fuel price information from large gasoline retailers and independent/franchised owners, over 155,000 volunteer spotters, and through other survey methods. Pricing information is updated on a daily basis.

The Mobile Posse solution is currently available on a number of leading wireless providers’ networks across the US.
