Microsoft mid-Tuesday rolled out the Comfort Curve Keyboard 3000 in what it hoped would be an extra step towards ergonomic keyboards. The wave shape is reportedly the output of “years” of study and meant to accommodate students’ actual wrist posture, not just the theoretical best position. A row of media keys is its main luxury.
The keyboard is intended primarily to work with Windows PCs but uses a standard USB plug that should support most computers. Microsoft is shipping the keyboard in August and is making cost the selling point at just $20.
