The LG Flip II has surfaced in the UK and is destined for T-Mobile in the US, as its prominent branding advertises. The phone stands out from the crowd thanks to its dual-screen and split keyboard design. The second screen serves as a place to locate app shortcuts with two of the eight spaces left user assignable.
The slider phone is described by Pocket-lint as being thicker than the Motorola Milestone 2. As with the LG Optimus 2X, the Android shortcuts on the bottom of the main display are touch activated.
Details of the LG Flip II’s specifications are scarce at this stage, although all is expected to be revealed on its rumored launch date of September 14.
