LG DoublePlay May Hit Stores on November 2

The LG DoublePlay, a dual-screen Android smartphone, which was officially announced for T-Moblie on October 17, now has a launch date. TmoNews has posted an internal marketing info sheet that reveals the expected ship date is November 2. In addition to a regular screen, the phone features a smaller screen nestled between a split QWERTY keyboard that allows the user to browse and engage in social networking at the same time.

The main display is 3.5 inches, while the keyboard-splitting display is 2.5 inches. The DoublePlay is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It comes equipped with a five-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and 720p video recording
