Microsoft and LucasArts have announced it will launch both the motion-controlled action game Kinect Star Wars and a limited edition bundle featuring a Star Wars themed Xbox 360 on Apr. 3.

The bundle will include an R2-D2-themed Xbox 360 with custom sounds and 320 GB hard drive, a white Kinect sensor and C-3PO-themed wireless controller. It will sell for $449.99.

Kinect Star Wars will feature a Jedi Destiny campaign where players can wield lightsabers and use Force powers with the help of hands-free Kinect motion controls.

The game will also feature podracing, space battles and the ability to ride speeder bikes and landspeeders. There’s also a Duels of Fate mode where players can practice their lightsaber skills in battle.

Perhaps the most interesting feature of this game is the Galactic Dance Off mode, where players can fire up Star Wars themed songs and “battle Darth Vader on the dance floor,” reads a statement from Microsoft and LucasArts.
