John Cusack will guest star in his untitled CBS untitled Wall Street drama pilot. Set in the world of Wall Street power and money, the project centers on Jackson (Charlie Cox), a smart, sophisticated hedge fund trader. Cusack will play Ted, a cynical former Wall Street trader who left the business.
The pilot will be directed by Niels Arden Oplev from a script by Taylor Elmoreand Ben Cavell based on a story the two co-wrote with Cusack and Kevin McCabe. CBS TV Studios is producing. Cusack is the latest actor to appear in a pilot they executive produce this season. Kevin Hart has a recurring role in his untitled ABC comedy pilot, and Laurence Fishburne has a recurring part in ABC’s untitled Anthony Anderson comedy pilot, which he executive produces.
