Apple has made some improvements to iWork for iCloud, according to pop-up messages. All three web apps in the suite — Pages, Numbers, and Keynote — have been given better support for Retina displays, a new editor tab, and upgraded sharing functions. The latter let people set shared documents as view-only, and open documents directly via iCloud Mail.
Pages has received better text wrapping, new templates, and support for editing charts from imported documents; the last of these has also been added to Keynote. Numbers has gained tweaked pop-up menus.
Apple also states that the Mac and iOS versions of iWork will be updated later today. While a full list of changes isn’t mentioned, the company says that people will need those updates in order to open documents edited in iCloud.
