A daylight savings-related bug is creating problems in the iOS 7 Calendar app, users say. This weekend’s time shift has reportedly displaced the red “current time” line by an hour. It doesn’t affect the scheduling of calendar events however, and general iOS alarms and system times should work properly.
iOS has been affected by several time-related bugs in the past, usually more serious ones breaking alarms. A 2010 iOS 4 glitch, for example, caused alarms on some European iPhones to go off at the wrong times. Another bug disabled one-time alarms when clocks rolled over to January 1st 2011.
