HTC has announced that it will bring Android 2.2 to its Legend handset, which had been available through several Canadian carriers. The update will arrive first on unbranded handsets sometime in the “coming weeks,” while carrier-branded variants will be the next in line, according to a Facebook post from HTC representatives.
The Legend was sold by Bell Canada and Virgin Mobile Canada, along with several overseas carriers. After HTC releases the official update, it must be approved by each of the carriers before arriving on the handsets.
