HP Launches 5 New All-In-Ones PCs for the Home

HP on Wednesday remade its TouchSmart all-in-ones for the home with five new models. The 20-inch TouchSmart 320, 21.5-inch TouchSmart 420, and 23-inch TouchSmart 520 all have a completely new design with a weighted base that lets them freely tilt the computer and LCD while creating a sense of space. Beats Audio processing comes along with an optional Pulse Subwoofer for the 520 that can give it deeper bass without needing an entirely separate set of speakers.

The mix carries the latest TouchSmart front end for touch-native apps. LinkUp is present as well and brings remote notebook content editing.

HP is short on specifications, although it’s presumed the 320, 420, and 520 will use at least Intel processors.

The Omni 120 and 220 are HP’s two non-touch options and carry respective 20- and 21.5-inch screens. Both have LinkUp. HP is more specific on hardware and gives the 120 options of frugal AMD or Intel processors as well as up to a 750GB hard drive. Upgrading to the Omni 220 adds Beats Audio, quad-core Intel processors and faster graphics.

In an odd timing, the Omni 220, TouchSmart 420, and TouchSmart 520 will all be available on September 11 for respective prices of $800, $700, and $900. The Omni 120 ships on September 21 for $400, and the TouchSmart 320 will be ready last, coming October 2 for $600.
