Microsoft revealed on Thursday that it will bring out its Halo ATLAS game companion app to users on December 10. The Assisted Tactical Assault System will give Halo Reach and Halo Anniversary gamers the ability to watch real-time data from live matches. The app can be had for Windows Phone, iOS and Android devices and was created in conjunction with Brady games.

When not playing, users can study multiplayer apps in Halo Reach, which contain details such as health and vehicle and weapon spawn locations. During gameplay, they can view near-real-time locations of weapons and vehicles during Custom Multiplayer games. It tracks user location and that of team members. The app is meant to encourage strategic gameplay and even contains a dynamic player list and current score for the team and each player. Which weapon the user is currently equipped with and those of their teammates is also available.

ATLAS will be free for Windows Phone device owners and cost $5 for iOS and Android devices. Also on December 10, Microsoft will release Halo Waypoint for iOS and Android platforms.
