GoPro Cameras Capture Ford Racers

GoPro has announced that their wearable HD video cameras will be used to capture onboard racing footage during the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge races. With a GoPro HD Heroonboard each driver’s car, the action is delivered directly to the race fans. The Mustang Challenge video initiative first developed at the onset of the 2009 season, and the Compass360-produced content delivers high-quality video excitement after every race weekend, viewable at www.youtube.com/themustangchallenge as well as www.mustangchallenge.com.

This is the second year that GoPro has provided onboard camera footage for the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge but new this year is the use of GoPro’s new HD HERO. Beating out all other cameras in its class, the GoPro HD Heroprovides the highest quality HD video with its ability to record in 1080p. And when set to 720p at 60 frames per second, video from the GoPro HD Herocan be played back in super smooth slow motion to capture the hair raising action of the Mustang Challenge.
