In a promotion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game XY: Phantom Forces expansion, GameStop will be playing host to a Pokémon distribution event that has Shiny Gengars up for grabs.
From October 13th – 26th, Pokémon X and Y owners can stop by their local GameStop for the free Pokémon. This new Shiny Gengar comes holding a Gengarite Mega Stone, meaning its Mega Evolution will be available from the get go.
The following few weeks, from October 27th – November 16th, gamers will be able to pick up a Diancie. While it won’t be able to mega-evolve in Pokémon X and Y, owners will be able to transfer the Pokémon to the newly released Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, where a Diance centered Mega Stone does exist.
