Handmark has announced the availability of Funkyball Worlds for iPhone and iPod touch on the App Store. Funkyball Worlds is a groovy physics-based platform game in which players guide a realistically weighted Funkyball across platforms using a combination of accelerometer and multi-touch controls to roll, slide and jump through different worlds.
“Funkyball Worlds is a fun, yet challenging platform game that successfully takes advantage of the unique device functionality and complements our existing catalogue of quality games in the App Store,” said Jason Ford, VP of Games for Handmark. “We’re pleased to support Gamelion in bringing this great new game to iPhone and iPod touch users.”
In Funkyball Worlds players explore three worlds, each with multiple levels and varied challenges, traversing the platforms against the clock. Players must avoid hazards like mines and lasers, and use collectables such as ball launchers to complete each level. Funkyball Worlds also features an ambient music soundtrack created by Poland’s DJ Zombie, or allows players to play the music from their iPod in the background.

Funkyball Worlds was developed exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch by Gamelion, creators of the hit Nintendo Wiiware and DSiware game Furry Legends. It is the first game to launch as part of a new publishing agreement with Handmark.
