Marg Helgenberger, who played Catherine Willows in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, has been cast as a series regular for the Fox pilot Behind Enemy Lines, per Deadline.
The pilot very loosely based on the 2001 film which used 1995 Mrkonjić Grad incident as it core theme.
The pilot was written by Nikki Toscano (Shades of Blue) and will be directed by McG (Supernatural).
Behind Enemy Lines will tell the story of a group of U.S. soldiers who find themselves trapped on the wrong side of a conflict.
It’s described as, “a multiple-perspective narrative that closely follows our soldiers on the ground and the officers and service men and women on a nearby aircraft carrier, along with intelligence officers in D.C. as they attempt to bring our heroes home safely and under the radar.”
