Epic Games will release a fourth downloadable map pack for action title Gears of War 3 on Mar. 27.
The DLC titled “Forces of Nature” will feature five multiplayer maps, three new locations and two older settings that have been remastered.
“All the maps are themed around that notion of forces of nature — tornadoes, tsunamis, huge fog,” executive producer Rod Fergusson said.
The three new maps — Artillery, Aftermath and Cove — each highlight a specific weather element. In the case of Cove, for example, the map is shrouded by a dense fog. The DLC will also bring back popular maps Jacinto and Raven Down.
This is the fourth and final download featured as part of Gears of War 3’s Season Pass, which allows players to buy the first four pieces of DLC in one package.
