Check out this great first look at John Cusack as the legendary Edgar Allen Poe in The Raven (working title) opening in theaters on March 9, 2012.
In the thriller, Edgar Allen Poe (Cusack) joins forces with a young Baltimore detective (Luke Evans) to hunt down a serial killer who uses Poe’s work as the inspiration for his violent murders. The detective reaches out to Poe when he realizes what the murderer is doing to get some insight into how to catch him.
The film, directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta), also stars Alice Eve (Sex and the City 2), Brendan Gleeson, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.
The film will also be at Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday, July 22, with John Cusack, Luke Evans, Alice Eve, and director James McTeigue all expected to be there.
