Today, Square Enix announced that Final Fanasy XIV Collector’s Edition has launched for Windows PC. Offering players early access to the game, this Collector’s Edition also comes with other perks, including an in-game item, a behind-the-scenes DVD and more. With language support in Japanese, English, French and German, the adventure begins anew in the vast realm of Eorzea!

Price
The Final Fanasy XIV is available now for $74.99, and includes one playable character and 30 days of free access. After the free period, the regular 30-day subscription fee will be $12.99. Each additional character will be $3.00 per period, with a maximum of eight playable characters per account. Depending on the service period length selected, service fee discounts can apply.
The game has an ESRB Rating of Teen.
The standard edition of Final Fanasy XIV will be available for the PC on September 30, 2010. The PlayStation 3 version of Final Fanasy XIV is currently under development with a scheduled launch of early March 2011.
