Big Fish Games today announced the release of its iPad version of the Everest: Hidden Expedition app, the first -“ and highly successful -“ iPhone game from Big Fish Games. Everest: Hidden Expedition HD has been digitally re-mastered using the original high-resolution art from the award-winning PC version of the game. In this hidden object adventure game, players compete to reach the top of Mount Everest, receiving guidance from Ed Viesturs -“ the world’s foremost expert on mountain climbing and mountaineering -“ along the way. The game offers two modes: single-player and multiplayer for head-to-head competition against friends.

“Hidden object games are really enjoyable when played alone, but there’s an extra element of fun when playing against someone,” said Patrick Wylie, vice president of Big Fish Games Studios. “In Everest: Hidden Expedition HD, you can thwart your friends by flicking a snowball across the screen, partially obscuring your competitor’s view until they flick away the chunks of snow residue. Watch out, though -“ a snowball will likely be thrown back in your direction!”

Players are pitted against a formidable group of opponents in a race to the summit of Mount Everest. Expert Everest climber Ed Viesturs assists players along the way. The app includes more than 30 beautiful hidden object scenes from around the world and exclusive, stunning photographs of Viesturs’ ascent from Nepal to the summit of Mount Everest.
