Epson has become the latest manufacturer to make computers based on Intel’s Ivy Bridge chipset available to customers. On Tuesday, the manufacturer debuted a line of customizable, business-to-business oriented entry level desktops for the Japanese market.

Customers buying either the Endeavor S TY 1100S or Endeavor MR4300E Series will be able to select from a range of CPU, GPU, memory, storage, OS, and optical drive options in designing their own desktops. CPU options range from Intel’s Core i5 up through the Core i7. Those purchasing the MR4300E will have a choice between a Radeon HD 6570, a GeForce GT 430, and a Quadra 600 for graphics cards.

Intel’s Ivy Bridge lineup consumes less power than previous generations of processors, while their higher transistor count allows for faster CPUs. The lower-cost, higher-power processors have begun appearing in a range of desktop and notebook offerings from multiple manufacturers. Epson will begin accepting orders for the new desktops in May, at a minimum configuration price of 72,240 yen ($889.00)
