Empire has cast Annie Ilonzeh (Arrow, Graceland, Person of Interest) as a dogged reporter for the latter half of Season 2, according to EW.com — and it sounds like her cameras will be following Lucious, Cookie, Jamal & Co., whether they like it or not.
Ilonzeh’s character, Harper Scott, is described as “tough, smart, and not above using her seductive appearance to get answers.”
The actress, who was set to continue recurring on Season 4 of Graceland before USA Network cancelled it, has also had major roles on Drop Dead Diva, Switched at Birth and Charlie’s Angels.
She’ll make her Empire debut in 2016, when the Fox soap returns from its winter break.
