Disney Movies is a new iPad app that provides information on a wide range of Disney titles. Users can preview recent movie trailers, or purchase DVDs and Blu-ray discs through supported online retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and the Disney Store. the app also provides a synopsis of featured moviesand the ability to look up showtimes of Disney films being played at local theaters. Plus there is an integrated map for finding local theaters. Other features include a soon-to-be-released list of movies and bonus material for select films.
Purchasing options allow users to obtain movie tickets through supported web-based services, while digital copies are available via iTunes and Vudu. Disney Movies is available as a free download from the App Store.
