In the video below, Nathan Dunlap of IdentityMine demos the new official IMDb app for Windows Phone 7. He also shares with us a little about the other projects IdentityMine is working on for Windows Phone 7 and what makes a great Windows Phone 7 app.

The video below is worth watching since the IMDb app is one of the best uses of the Windows Phone UI model I have seen. IdentityMine has done a great job bringing IMDb to the phone, a much better version than the Android or iPhone version of the app.

So even if you are not into Movies or TV, but really who isn’t, the video is worth watching to get a good feel of the Windows Phone UI model and how it is different from Android or iPhone.

Nathan’s Bio

Nathan has done stints in the newspaper industry and television industry besides being the sole designer on the Windows Presentation Foundation product team when he was at Microsoft. In other words, Nathan has been doing .NET markup based user interface technologies for Silverlight, Surface and Windows Phone for over a decade.   Companies that Nathan has worked with or for include:  New York Times, Blockbuster, IMDb, Intuit, Morgan Stanley, Siemens, Twitter, Facebook, Nike, and MSN.  Another client IdentityMine has done a Windows Phone 7 app for is SBB  railway in Europe.      At the end of the video we talk a little about the SBB ticketing App for WP7 and you can see a screen shot of the app to the right.
