Dell’s New UltraSharp U2211H and U2311H Monitors

Dell UltraSharp U2211H

Dell has announced the availability of the UltraSharp U2211H and U2311H flat panel monitors with in-plane switching technology (IPS) to deliver consistent colors across wide viewing angles. for growing businesses, knowledge workers and photography buffs who need superb color reproduction in their work or leisure activities.

The Dell UltraSharp U2211H is a 21.5-inch display whilw the U2311H comes in at 23-inches. Both are 1920 x 1080 HD displays with 178 degrees viewing angles and 8 ms (gray to gray) response time. By utilizing e-IPS technology, Dell claims high dynamic contrast ratio and amazing, vivid and consistent color consistency with minimal color deviation from virtually any angle

“These new Dell displays are ideal for knowledge workers such as financial analysts, programmers and photography enthusiasts,” said Steve Gluskoter, General Manager of Dell Displays and Peripherals.

Both monitors are height adjustable screens that can tilt and swivel to accommodate user preferences. Plus displays can also easily pivot to the landscape or portrait orientations Other features include multiple connectivity options such as DisplayPort, DVI-D (with HDCP), 4X USB 2.0 and VGA connectors for compatibility with legacy devices.

Price and Availability

These new displays are available today in the US, Japan and most of Asia. They will be available in Europe starting May 19th. Prices are $279 for the U2211H and $299 for the U2311H. They
