Peter Milligan and Werther Dell’Edera’s Vertigo title and J.T. Krul, Geraldo Borges and Marlo Alquiza’s miniseries were announced as winners in the ‘Comic Book Storyline or Graphic Novel’ category at the 15th annual PRISM Awards.

The awards recognize “accurate depiction of substance abuse and mental illness: prevention, treatment and recovery in film, television, interactive, music, DVD, and comic book entertainment”.

Greek Street was an ongoing series that retold Ancient Greek legends in London’s modern day Soho until its cancellation last year. The arc running from issues #12-14 was singled out for the award.

The Rise of Arsenal was a much-maligned storyline that followed in the wake of Justice League: Cry For Justice and dealt with the death of Roy Harper’s daughter and his relapse into drug addiction.

The Rise of Arsenal is available in the Justice League: The Rise and Fall hardcover. The award-winning arc of Greek Street will be reprinted in its third and final collected volume in September.
